I also took pictures of the VR. It looks clean and pretty. But that doesn't mean it's working right all the time.

However, big question for me. After seeing pictures in various links you guys have posted, I was expecting a ground wire. But, as you can see in the picture, no ground wires.

I had already disconnected it prior to the picture. Just the one connection, that's all.

I thought I already told you this. The blue ones are KNOWN for epoxy paint and that the washers won't scratch through. But you have the CHECK

With the engine running "fast" stab a meter probe into the battery NEG terminal and stab your other probe HARD into the VR case. The rivets near the connector are a good place. You are hoping for a very low reading the lower the better. Zero is perfect. This tells you the thing is grounded. You MUST scrape around the mounting holes, both the VR and the firewall
