He's only had the car since he was 13 (he's 33 now). With some help from a friend we finally got paint on it. Now to get it back together...got the scoops painted, too. Last pic is from when Jeff was in high school...

Looks great, I bet there will be some good summer time fun around this nice rag top this year

Wow, you beat my record. I started working on my dart and it was 16 years before I got paint on it. Im in year 17 and its almost finished.
Nice looking dart there. Is that B5 blue?

Bought my 66’ in 1989.
Just finishing the “every but and bolt restafacation” hopefully in time for Carlisle.

Like a good wine- it all take time. Lol!

That’s awesome, he’s going to love that car, always means more when you do the work yourself, looks awesome enjoy!

Color is Viper blue. Originally was going to be B5, but he changed his mind when we started back on it last year.

I see you have those blue line tires in the rear LOL, looks great. I have always wanted to do a rag top just can't find one that's not all rotted out.

The only original sheet metal on this car is the basic shell. Even the quarters have been replaced. It was banged and battered when we got it. Rust wasn't that bad, but it was bent up, externally. This is very early in the build. 2002.

Jim, I love the way your son and you took the car to the Mopar Alley show a while back. I love to see a project in the works.

Thanks. That was the first show the car made it to, June 2002. He had just finished his sophomore year of high school. He was driving it to school that fall without a top. We've had it at the Mopar Alley a few times since then. He also played college baseball at Ohlone College, where they used to hold their show. This is the car at our local show in Madera. He had just broken his left kneecap earlier in the day, but insisted on driving the car home...
