just wondering if I have a 180 degree thermostat at what temp would I want the electric fans to come on ?

Is it bad to have them running all the time ?

It's not good for the fan life, but people do it.
I run a 190 stat and have it set to come on at 210 and shut back off at 190.
Out on the road it the temp dips just below 190 so I know the fan shuts off.
Around town in stop and go traffic it will go back and forth between 190 and 210 as the fan turns on and off.

Cool thank u for your reply

I set my on at 180 and off at 160 and see how it effects the temp and battery.
Alternator dependent as the running fan draws amps. You can always fine tune e it as you go.

Different thermostat temp rating would determine different settings for sure.
