590 cam installation tips

So for all here is my current combo. .030 over 360. W2 (long valve) small chamber (57cc) mildly ported heads with Crane W2 roller rocker setup. Mopar 557 cam at present, straight up. Had pushrods custom made for length to determine proper rocker and tip geometry. Will do so for the 590 cam as well. Cranking compression is 220lbs. 750 Holley with Indy single plane manifold (yes the oval port Indy is the same as the W2). Hedman 1-7/8 primary x 3-1/2 collector chassis race headers. 4.57 gears with 30x9" tires. Best of a 10.83 @ 120 in Phoenix (mid 80's spring weather). I am taking out the motor for a refresh and wanted to try the 590 cam. Yes I have one already. I'm also going through the trans and adding a transbrake to my 727. Yes, I've been foot braking all this time. I also will be adding an 850 Holley to the mix.

So with all this said; anyone have anything else to add? Appreciate it!

Pushrod length does not affect rocker geometry. You need to call Mike at B3 racing engines and talk to him. Don't order pushrods until you do. Hope I'm not too late.
