Will need better tires once I get the car up, just wondering if anyone has installed hoosier QT pro 31x13.5-15 on a mini tub set up. I dont have springs to worry about.

The tire I run is 28" tall . 12.30 section width. Tread is 10.30" I have plenty of room on both sides with a 15x10 rim. 67 barracuda FB. Yours is 30.90 tall . 14.1 section. 11" tread. Judging by your avatar and not knowing the difference in rear quarters from FB to Dart, I would say that it would be tight. I think I would have to clearance some shtuff to get that tire to fit with confidence.

I think unless the tubs were replaced and the axle moved back or the wheel well stretched you can get a tire that tall in a Dart.

It was narrowed a little, currently has a 15x10 wheel with 315x60x15 on it now, 5.5 back space, triangulated 4 link

Housing end to housing end is 47 1/2"
After looking at both tires to compare
Hooiser
31x13.5-15
Tire diameter: 30.9
Section width: 14.10 (358mm)
Tread width: 11

Mickey
315x60-15
Tire diameter: 30.08
Section width: 13.3 (337.8mm)
Tread width: 11.73

Both measured on a 10" rim. Section width when converted is 20mm wider. Was just looking at options, it's a twin turbo car just trying to get the best tire for it but looks like it's just keep the 315s on it, has a wider tread for grip.

I run a 28x12.50 (13.1 section width on a 11.25" wheel and they are tight, really they are too tight.

The 31 may be a issue too. My axle is moved back 1.5" and
I don't know if a 31 will fly. Plus to get ride height you'll have a ton of tire I the well and it narrows as it goes up.

True, here's mine at the highest setting, same as yours, can drop it down one or two with the 315s and have room. Thanks for everyone's input, I'll stick to the 315s then, they seem to be the best option.

Well those where the old rims, when I upgraded the rear disc had to get other wheels, alot of pics are on my build thread in the forced induction. These are the new wheels on the rear. But those steel rims where 15x10s
