Electronic ignition mounting plate for Conversion

I purchased performance ignition set from Robert Ehrenburg, I have been reading some older literature from The Dart/Valiant Slant 6 club of America. I have 68 vintage issues. His name appears in several of those editions. Maybe some old school members know more about him than I do. Anyway, this is a 7500 rpm set up with all new parts including ECU, wiring harness, ballast resistor, and a special curved distributor. I am going to give it a try.

I installed the new ignition kit this weekend. And, I ended up removing the distributor 4 times before I managed to get it right. This is how I managed to get it right. I removed the number one spark plug, placed the engine at TDC by putting my finger over the number one hole, checked to make sure the piston was at the top. Ignored the fact that the timing marks were not pointing to the engine scale. The marks were pointing closer to the sky. Replaced the number one plug and installed a clear spark tester between the plug wire and plug. Removed the distributor, turned on the ignition. Then I grabbed the bottom drive gear and rotated back and forth to watch the spark jump on number 1. Then gently removed the cap and looked at the reluctor tooth and the pickup position. Made sure they were perfectly aligned, then I marked that "sweet" spot with a marker pen. Put the distributor, back in with the rotor facing approximately 15 degrees counter clockwise, and pushed the dstributor down until the rotor pointed to the "sweet" spot. It took me 3 tries to get this dead on because, as you know, when the gear meshed with the cam, it moves clockwise. Installed the cap, removed the spark tester from number one, and locked the distributor down. When I started the car WOW, starts like a fuel injected car the starter barely moves and runs a trillion times better than before. When I put the timing light on, it was set perfectly to 10 degrees before TDC, no adjusting required.
