Maybe the new gasket cured the vacuum like you had..?

I've already learned that "what's that supposed to mean" is a trick question..

Maybe in your world it's a trick question. I never hear it. My wife and I have more sense than to try and start fights with eachother. I just do whatever the heck I please, and I told her she can leave any time she wants. And if she rather I leave, fine; I'll walk away. Women don't like to be told what to do, so I gave her a choice. Bam!, no more trouble on the home front. That was like 20 years ago, maybe 30,IDK.. We will be celebrating 42 years of marriage in less than a week. I'm looking forward to some cuddle-time.

As to richer or leaner; I'm interested to hear the answer too.

I don't know why you would suggest my wife and I try to start fights with each other but whatever...
Maybe one day we'll have as good a relationship as you do if that's what you need to think..

Obviously irony isn't everyone's bag. So can we quit the bickering and get back to the op's thread please?

I guess I`m guilty too, but it`s weired how things get changed around and some even turn into a pissing match . LOL

ain't no one gonna mention my wife in any suggestive way and not here back from me!
I didn't mean for that to happen, I was actually done pookin at ya.
I've noticed if a thread stalls any comments can bring it back to get some attention and hopefully some answers....

If your engine is running richer after a change then that is good. That means the engine is pulling harder on the carb than it was before which means it will make more power. Having to reduce the jet size is good since it means the carb is getting a better signal from the engine. When you make a change and the carb requires more jet size that is usually bad since it means the signal to the carb has been reduced.
