Narrow Escape (Pit Bull)

-
Shoulda coulda woulda pitbulls killed someone again. All 3 involved are dead, so the shoulda coulda woulda kicks in. Fact is 3 are dead....if this was 2 chihuahuas what would the outcome have been? My family is not worth risking. I have a pack mentality too. MY PACK.
**edit** this discussion will go on and on, for me, my opinion is all animals have the ability to go "sideways" to what extent the damage is, is based on size/strength of animal.

Maybe these people being attacked by dogs are just wearing the wrong clothes...

Probably not even pit bulls .....

Look at the conditions those dogs were living in. You think any of those dogs were raised in a loving, caring home ?
**** no they weren't. Those dogs were raised in terrible conditions, made mean by their dumb **** owners.
I'm looking at 2 pits right now, and one just wants to go outside and play ball and the other just wants his belly rubbed like any other dog. You snowflakes need to take your skirts off, and get on with your life.

I agree. The only argument the pit loses is with size and strength compared to little dogs.........but there are tons of other large dog breeds and every one of them has attacked at one time or another. You just don't see it as much, because it doesn't fit the mainstream media's narrative. No doubt a lot of attacks have been attributed to pits that weren't pits at all.

That said, you caint argue with what Steve said. Were they mini poodles or some other small breed, they could be controlled. But they are and can be big dogs and are very powerful. But so are a TON of other big dogs.

Bottom line is like you say. It's not the dog's fault.

Those don't really look like pits to me. I think that's what inflates the stats of these so-called pit attacks. A dog has a muscular stature, short hair, blocky head, etc.- and they're assumed to be pits.

My friend their owner said Pit soooo, who am I to question?? Im not a dog expert like soooo many on here are.
Banned up here.....for a reason lol. Doesnt affect my life in any way, cuz I would never own one so I dont really give a rat's ***. As a dog owner i gave my opinion and will keep on keepin' on.
ANY dog can turn, you MAY lessen damage and control it easier with a non pit type dog.
Theres a reason Vick chose Pits and not Shitzu.

You pit lovers can make all the excuses you want....there are a lot of lovable pleasant dogs raised in terrible horrible conditions that don’t attack people. Can a pit be a decent pet?....if it’s environment is conducive to that it appears so, if not you had better be ready for it to turn.
I am old... I have lived through the public / media driven fear of the Shepherds, Dobermans, Chows, Rots....Pits are a different level....
