Exactly. If it’s a big enough of deal for the OP, he should contact the shipper and file a claim. Especially if it wasn’t visible from pics before hand.
As to the seller and assuming there’s no evidence of damage prior, but after it’s been blasted and painted, and then the damage shows up, that’s really not on the seller.
