Need new carpet for 72 duster. Best place to get it?

I bought a few on the bay just punch in acc carpet Plymouth duster then click lowest price $158.65 free shipping never had a problem on install looks good dealer name adealsap I think 99% comes from acc

I purchased from ACC carpet thru their retail sales arm Stock Interiors. Great carpet and easy to order. You can even talk to them if you have any questions. I see several comments on this great forum where there are several different retailers with some good pricing. Dantes, Rock Auto to name a couple. ACC makes 90% of auto carpet. Consider getting mass backing, you will be glad you did.

Dantes mopar parts. he stand behind what he sells even if its third party . I bought my AC Custom carpet through Dantes

ACC has 2 grades of carpet. They have the standard grade, that most people buy, and they have a higher grade that is more expensive, nicer, and has more backing on it. My friends at Motor Parts South worked with ACC to help develop the carpet. ECS was involved also, and they have the ability to ship it flat to keep it from wrinkling up.

I would call Dante's. My entire interior (seat covers, door panels, carpet, headliner) came from them and I have no complaints. Depending on how fast you need it, he will deliver it to Carlisle in July for free.

Can you be more specific on the higher grade? Like, what is it called?

I'm about to get new carpet for my 64 Valiant convertible, it's an s200 but I purchased Signet bucket seat and rear seat coverings from Legendary. I'm converting to buckets from bench.

ACC lists 2 carpets, standard and Signet, same price for each. Does anyone know what the differences are? I'm assuming the Signet carpet is "better" in some way because the it was the top of the line Valiant. Maybe it's cut vs. loop?

Another thing.
There is a separate listing for convertibles.
Also auto vs. 4 speed.

But not for convertible/4 speed combo.

I just ordered my carpet kit from rockauto with a 5% off discount $212 shipped in California with the MASS BACKING upgraded backing
64 Valiant vert/Auto part number ACC 16665232

From Rock auto's site:
ACC 11182232 Loop; Molded; Complete; 2 Pieces; With Mass Backing; Click INFO to view full-size color swatches in the image box Info
2 Door; Hardtop; Convertible; 4 Speed

They show LOOP Carpet 80/20 rayon/nylon
and "ESSEX" PLUSH or PILE Carpet which is 100% nylon
The Essex is more expensive

Maybe @prorac1 will chime in. I forget where they got theirs for Jason's car but whoever it was let them order it long so they could cut it like they wanted to. I kinda like that. Since I tagged him, maybe he will chime in.

Thanks Rob.

We got ours from vendor/member @RPM440+6

He orders direct from ACC and instructs them to leave the front and sides long.

It’s also made to order so it doesn’t sit in a box for 6 months.

Ours rolled out and kept it’s form perfect.

Cool, that's who I am going to get my window gaskets from so I will talk to him about carpet, too.

Also check pro-fit. Gotta shop around. Mass backed is very good.
