I am going to the big Mopar swap meet tomorrow to sell all my extra parts. I have a nice cast nose cone for a GTS grille, I don't see any part number on it. I am hoping someone can give me an approximate value on this so I have an idea what to ask for it. Any advise would be greatly appreciated
Thanks much!

Not sure how to tell if they are reproduction or not but if you do a search they are very rare. one was listed for $1500 last year and showed sold and another ad a few years back had them between $800-$2000

Thank you kindly for your response! I went back through the old ads as well and saw the same thing. Iv'e never seen another one in person before so I nothing to compare it to. It is well made and looks like a factory piece but again I have nothing to reference.

I am trying to figure out a fair price for it, I cant really do that without knowing it's value.

I sold my last one for $750 6 years ago and it was nice. Probably closer to $1000 today.

Thank you very much for your input. Just curious if yours had a part number on it?
Thanks Mike

None of them ever had a part number on them, I have had 6 originals and 2 repops, the repops are plastic.

The part number is 2756521. I have 2 of them stuck away someplace, and I'm pretty sure they both had part numbers on them. If I remember right, the numbers were very small.

Where did you buy the repops? How much are they? I've always wondered about this rare part. If I had one, I'd have it scanned into a 3D printer and kick them out by the dozens. Slap some paint on them and 99% of the people wouldn't know the difference or care. Only the people who are having their cars judged would need an original piece.

I personally believe they are ugly as sin and everyone took them off. That's why they are so "rare".

Sorry guys i didn't finish loading and getting ready for the meet till late last night. I will post the pic tomorrow.
Thanks

The repops were only made for a short time, they were $450 when new. I got an original one on my car when I bought it, had a '68 grille in my '67, painted black. A friend wanted it for his '68, but I couldn't give him a price. Glad I didn't as he sold that car. Still on the grille, that's hanging in the garage. Even painted over, it's still probably worth a few hundred, which I think is insane, but that's how it goes.

If you don't know, come up with a number that you feel good at. Buck the trend, and start selling parts cheaper!

On the Malibu cruise I was leaving the Rock Store last Friday and someone yelled out that he had a nose cone for my car. My buddy heard himbutI didn’t. I blew it off. Was that you? Did you sell it at the Fling? My GTS didn’t come with one.

I will be posting my nose cone up by the weekend along with some other nice parts. Thanks for all of your input!
