The factory artwork is probably a pre-production image. The gist is right - but there is/was a small retainer that holds the line clear of the pump body and pulleys. I haven't got this one running yet, but here's how I ended up running the feed line on this one - with that little bracket the artwork omits...

I know this is an old post, but where did you get your water pump fittings?

IIRC I ordered them from Summit and they were not found "by application".

Fuel line!? ha I ordered from 2 different vendors repop fuel lines for an F body 318 2 bbl.. The long line of neither fit! One was actually 180 degrees backwards too!

Question for the ‘65 gurus... what’s the correct route of the steel fuel line from the pump to carb? I have the stamped steel alternator bracket setup with a small clip on the bolt for the lower slide. Does the steel line run in front of the bracket, through the clip, then up and over the water pump and timing cover? Pics might help m
Did you end up buying new lines? Or did you make them yourself? I have a 66 Commando and it seems I have all the brackets but the fuel line is bent and twisted incorrectly! I would like to buy pre-bent lines if anyone makes them I've looked at Classic Industries and can't seem to find a set for my application.

I've been on the lookout for prebent ones for years. Ever since I accidentally broke my original '65 one trying to remove a kink. If anyone has found someone that makes them. I still have the original.
