Dr Diff Offest Kit With Oval Track Springs

Finally starting to get some miles on mine with the oval track springs and I’ve felt like a dog chasing his tail with incorrect pinion angle vibrations. I went for a ride yesterday to test out yet another pinion adjustment. I finally felt good enough about the EFI tune to get into it a few times and this is what I get home to. Springs are trash. The tire is about an inch from the back side of the quarter. I guess this is what I get for trying to save a few bucks.

Dumb question: was it like that before you drove it, or was the tire centered in the wheel well ?

The reason I ask is because my oval track springs had the center pin hole in the wrong position so I re-drilled it before I installed the springs. I posted pictures earlier in this thread,of the wheel location before and after I re-drilled the pin hole.

Other than loose u bolts, or center pin hole in the wrong location there's really no other cause for the wheel to be shoved back.

If you were to wrap the springs hard enough to permenantly deform the front section, it seems to me that the wheel would be shoved forward in the well.
