my Low dollar 318 hop-up project

H & X seemed to be tied with the true duals right behind them. Engine Masters has a video on it on a low powered 350. IMO, run a X or H. An X sounds smoother, the H has a muscle car sound.

The only way to truly know is dyno test/track test. But ether is pricey
What I have is a y pipe 1 going into 2 then 2 turbo mufflers exiting out the back. When I was young and dumb I put duals on a slant six lol. So I'm using the pipe that I have and cutting the y out and going forward to the headers. I was thinking about just doing two pipes to the headers and not even fooling with connecting the two it would be easier and cheaper for me less welding and less cutting measuring etc. I think for the time being since I'm doing it all myself I will probably just go that route and maybe later on when I have money to spend on exhaust go back and replace it all from the headers back with 3" pipe and do it nice.
