Also if you are using the stamped steel intake gaskets, ditch them and use some Fel-Pro print-o seal intake gaskets.

My mechanic/buddy put the SFL1243 gaskets on it when he did the 4-bbl conversion for me. Unfortunately, he doesn't recall if he used any sealant on the bolts.
