67/68/69 cuda dilemma

I got a care package in from Cosgig yesterday, didnt cost me a pirates ransom either. Got some of the last pieces of sheetmetal i need to unfuck the *** end of this notchback. The trunk hinge supports. I would have to say these things were almost as hard to get as a pirates treasure. Arrrrgggg matey. Not too bad for Michigan rusty either. I do appreciate his effort in this, as he had to deal with a local sourly scalywag with an eyepatch and a plastic parrot on his shoulder whos always looking for pieces of eight everytime Geof shows up.

I have to say though that Geof insists that the brown crusties somehow make the parts more rare, but i think its really a way to slowly chemically mill down a car body, kinda like a slow motion acid dipping. Anyhoo, after peeling off the extra pieces left attached to the supports, i dunked em in the blast cabinet to get a better assessment of what we have, the right lower leg is perforated, but no biggie, i have a spare RH lower leg i can use from the scamp we cut up. I intend to carefully use my spotweld cutter to remove both lower legs and sandblast where the pieces lap together, then i will use some weld thru primer in these spots and some leftover epoxy primer on the remainder of the brackets.
