What front tire and rim size is best on an a body bracket car?

That is actually not a very wide tire. What's the reason you guys are using the vw tire. I am missing something here.
We both drive our cars on the street. Something like the Goodyear tire mentioned above is great for the track (on a track only car) where it is nice and clean, but is dangerous on street where you may run over random rocks, hunks of plastic, etc. The "VW" tires, being a street tire, are steel belted, inexpensive, and will take a lot more abuse without instantly going flat.

If I had a race only car that was faster than my current ride I would probably do something different....like the MT or Hoosier fronts (~150$ per tire).

Also to note about the speed ratings, those are for sustained speeds of ***. If you are curious, look up how the tests are done. Short version is, they essentially put the tire against a wheel to load it and spin it for 10 minutes at *** speed....I don't drive at 120+ for ten minutes straight, so....yeah.
