I have a 74 late year Duster, I can’t seem to figure out how to adjust the glass so it sits in close to the rubber at the top corner where your head might be.
Everywhere else it’s sits pretty much where it should be, the window rolls up and down good, I’m stumped

Come on guys help me out here, jeeez someone has to have some wisdom on this issue.
I can get the glass to fit good at the top but then when I roll down the window the glass pops out of the rod.
My glass has a rod that the glass rides up and down on at the top it’s tight at the bottom it’s off track ???

I would guess something is bent some place. Did you check the window stops To make sure the adjustment is correct when the window is rolled up all the way? How about the center arm the glass rides up and down on Is it setting right or is it bent? The regulator arm has it ever been welded on if it's not the right length that would do it. Or if it's twisted. Sorry not much help when I can't be there.

The "pitch" of the glass should be adjusted by the window runner(s) adjust the bottom one(s) in towards the car will bring the window outwards. Adjust the bottom towards the outside of the door will bring the top of the glass inwards. It really takes a lot of trail and error, and trust me on this, once you get one set, you will be a pro afterwards.....

The bottom of the guide has two slotted holes. If I recall correctly...you loosen the nuts and move that in or out. I believe it acts like a se-saw. so to bring top in you push bottom out. Just be very careful not to bring it in too far an close the door hard. It does take a good deal of trial and error, cause every adjustment affects the others...
