I was sitting down with my uncle this weekend after getting my old 1969 Camaro on the road again we got to chatting about his cars of the past. He said he had a 1971 Demon purchased new in Lethbridge Alberta Canada and after we got to talking remembered the dealership telling him it was "the first down the assembly line" and then was able to rattle off the old VIN from memory. Any chance this car is still around as a project or restored car? He will start looking for the old paperwork in storage but was quickly able to dig out the attached photos of his 1971 Dodge Demon 340 Automatic VIN: LM29H1R100001 with Green Go paint.
Any leads or information would be appreciated!

cool story....usually the first cars were had by Chrysler executives or their museums....especially a first year model.....

Yeah it surprised me too... they even remember that there was something unique about the paint too. I'll have to press for more info. The executives were probably all busy driving the first new '71 Chargers.

I had a Brown 71 4sp with same scoops ,wing ,sport mirrors and stripe... my 1st car with hood scoops and it was SO cool looking out over them !

That is pretty! Would be an awesome find if it is still around. It also shows Chrysler build quality at the time. A brand new car and the edge of the hood sits higher than the fender. It just shows they weren't perfect even when new.:)
