1967 Dart GT 273 4 Barrel

-
Cant wait to hear / see the rest of your restoration story. I really like Dave from his time on GYC and would love to help him grow his shop with my 67 Dart Convertible that needs a restoration. (mostly body, paint, top and interior) it is a so cal car so no rust to speak of. Who knows maybe some day!

I recently purchased this Dart GT with the Charger 273 Engine and 4-Speed. I was actually able to track down the original owner and talk to him last night. Thank goodness for the Certicard! All original drivetrain. I didn't even know they made these until I ran across it.

What a great project! Love those 273/4-barrels and this one even had a 4-speed. Cool! Is Dave gonna do the complete restoration on it?

He freshened up the drivetrain, did the metal work, and is restoring all of the components. He has someone doing body and paint, then he will do the final assembly.

Here is the current progress

It's been almost a year and a half but I finally got the car back from the painter.

Look at all those holes!

Maybe you could measure all those holes and make a how to on their location and size, and maybe what clip goes where etc!

All of us 67 GT OEM enthusiasts would sure appreciate it!

By the way it looks beautiful!

Thank you. How about if I do before and after pics? I'm not the one putting it back together!

Sweet!

One of my favorite colors.

...and thank you for not making a GTS clone.

It's MUCH cooler as a GT with "GTS options".
