I will likely make it, it is however very close to the National show Mopars in the Park. I am going to try and do both this year. Thanks for the heads up. Send me a PM or let me know if a bunch of local FABO folks are going to get together. I have met several and it is a hoot to put faces to the persona from posts. With this group ya pretty much get what ya get. No real deviation from on line persona to real life. Bunch of good folks for sure.

Thanks, look forward to meeting you. I will be in the swap meet area.
I do not know of only one other FABO member so far that is coming.
If you are a member come see me at the swap meet area, toolmanmike.

Who do we look for there? Is the meet and greet at the diner Worth going to? I will be in one of these.

If the weather is good we have 150 to 190 cars, the meet and greet at Don and Millie's Friday night has around 60 to 80 cars, of all makes. A good turn out for a small venue.
Hope to see you there

I'll be there on Saturday also, probably won't have car quite ready, hoping for mopars in park, this I nice show been there the last three years see ya there
Lon

Lon, still have a month! Would be cool to have three 67-69 barracuda converts there. Will be nice to see you also.

We are looking forward to Omaha! I will be rocking my FABO coffee club shirt! I am easy to find, tall, wavy long blond hair, statuesque muscled up figure who glides and does not even have to walk. But if you don't see that guy, ....you might look for a old fat bald guy who is crippeled up to the point he just kind of stumbles along wearing a FABO black Tee shirt!

That sounds like me, I will be at the swap meet area collecting the money and watching things.

I'll be the old busted up grey haired guy, sounds like a trend going here. My old FABO shirt doesn't fit any more, maybe I can stretch it.

Watch the weather guys, right now it is going to be good Friday night's meet, and a slight chance of rain on Saturday, according to NOAH
I hope everything is good for Saturday's event, I am looking forward to it, See you there

We meet at 6:30 at Don and Millie's on Hwy 50 and Harrison St. on Friday night. then the show is at 8 to 4 on Saturday.
Hope to see you there.

Then you need to get all the people back there to start the anti rain dance. Let's hope it holds off.

At this point it is just a 20% chance, but the way they have been wrong who knows.

Well they have updated the forecast for Saturday, it is now 40%, rain in the morning until 7, the around 2 heavy storms.
Friday is going to be great.

Looks like the rain is going to hold off until 3 pm. We are going to push the judging up some to get done before it rolls in.

I am in Omaha now, wife bailed due to weather forecast and to put garden in. Man the road construction here is a mess, my GPS went bonkers with reconfigured routing. 29 South was literally shut down and barricaded, they sent us east to go west it was AFU. At the Hampton in Bellevue right across from a newly opened indoor shooting range! Woo Hoo. And Sushi joint and sports bar all within walking distance. Did not try and find show venue as my patience for the road situation had expired. Took me over an hour to go the 11 minutes left I had on GPS. On plus side my trusty 1911 chased me down here so I do not have to rent a pistol to shoot!

Glad you made it. Yes the flood screwed up a lot of things, plus the streets had a very bad winter, a lot of potholes to dodge.
We are meeting tonight at Don and Millie's on 144th (Hwy 50) and Harrison at 6 pm. Two ways to get there, Down the interstate 80, get off on Hwy 50 and go North or go West on 370 to Hwy 50 then North.
I will be there with the Dart
