These may not be the muffler for him if he wants quiet. These are not obnoxious but they're not quiet either. They flow like no other muffler though. All the F.A.S.T. racers use them. Sounds like their Super Turbo muffler would be more to his liking. Great muscle car sound, no drone, and you don't have to shout to your passenger to hold a conversation. You would have to look long and hard to find a negative review on these mufflers. To me they're the perfect street muffler.
