Converter upgrade worth it?

IMO, yes, very much so. Don't be afraid to go on up in RPM with the flash RPM. I would not be afraid to go to a 3000. Converter technology is such that you can get one that will be tight like a stock converter on the street, but flash to whatever you have the company build it to on launch. Spend good money on it. That means if you don't spend 400 bucks or more, it's not a good one. Save up if you have to. The converter is perhaps the single most important part of an auto street car.
