Hello Everybody, Could someone please point me in the right direction for a picture of a brake light switch that is set up correctly? I have been trawling through google and the forums but have not been able to find one. I recently reinstalled my steering column on my 68 Valiant but now my brake lights are on permanetly. We are guessing that when I removed or installed the column I must have knocked the switch out of alignment. And to be perfectly honest I don't know how it should be set up or where it should be sitting which is why I would like a picture to work from to get it set up right. It is a column shift auto. Appreciate any advice and photos you may be able to provide.

Just out of curiosity if you pull up on the brake pedal do the lights go out?

Reason I'm asking, you could have a pinched wire, or connector in the wrong socket

Don't discount that you might also have a bad switch. "New" does not equal "functional"
