This just came on the radio. It's about time we got some decent new country music.

Enjoy!

I think this city livin is getting me down, may be time to grab the women, the dog, a tent and head out.

what's it like to live in a big city of 10,000 people ?? :D

I'm thinking about doing the opposite. I live in a little bitty hick town and want to get the heck out!! I'm so tired of all the meth

My town is very small, only has 1 stop light, we jokingly call it Mayberry here. I lived in the city once in Lexington KY. In 1985/86 and that was enough for me, glad to be in Gods Country.

I live not to far from the original mayberry lol! Mt airy NC is about 30-40 mins from me!

Only about 1.1 Million in our sleepy Santa Clara Valley. Oops, that’s just San Jose.

I wish, I left the mountains and now live in the dung heep/blast furnace they call San Jose California.

Hey Dennis, you should swing by our shop some time. We're off Taylor and Stockton by the Y.

Let me tell you if the money here wasn't so good I'd be gone in a hot second.
I'd much rather be back in the wood, shooting guns, fishing for bookies and watching my dumb mut chase geese.

:)

I agree living in the country is nice I love the great outdoors and shooting and stuff like that. I just hate where I live it's really crappy. Best way I can describe it is the movie walking tall. This place is riddled by drugs and corruption. The cops are corrupt the town officials are corrupt.
The police literally murdered the town drunk back in January and got away with it. No lie I'm not exaggerating they killed him in cold blood for no reason. But they are cops and said he was resisting.
That's not the worst of it. The town district superintendent is a rich bastard who is buying up all the land for his use!
There was this big civic center purposed and every one in the community voted against it because of the traffic and other issues we just dont have the roads for it. Well the superintendent voted yes so guess what they built it. That's not the good part.
It was only supposed to cost like 200k out of tax money and the rest was supposed to come from donations. Well after the vote passed the "donations" backed out. But yet they still proceed with the project. Well they had "bids" on contracting companies to build the thing there was one company that under bid the company that won the bid by 2 million dollars.. but yet they still gave the job to the higher bidder. For some unknown reason noone understand why until now.
It was just released that the corrupt superintendent that voted yes just so happened to be the owner of the construction company that won the bid!!! How in the freak is that legal??? :BangHead::bs_flag:
I hate this town I want out so bad.
Oh did I mention that 9 out of 10 people are on meth??

I came through there last summer on the way to Pelham NC. There's a guy there that sells restored Mopar parts, I bought a floor shifter and linkage from him, he has a lot of original nice parts.

Will do. That’s close. My go to shop for maintenance is Valaya Racing behind the SAP at the corner of Autumn and W. St John. He’s putting the Blower on the Challenger this week.

I'm surprised I don't know it, that's really close to me.

Also I may want to pick your brain about your blower build. I'm leaning towards picking up a 6-71 for my car.

I look forward to chatting with you.

I wish I had the time I used to have for camping. I'm not talking the kind of camping most folks know.

Im talking 3 or 4 days out, at least a week on site, ultra lite rod, pistol, bear line, dig your own pit kind of camping.

My girl keeps saying she wants to go camping and I tell her "you never been camping."
He idea of camping is drive to a parking lot, set up your 5 room tent next to some asphalt and 100 other folks. Where they have plumbing and a "general store".

I know a spot way out in the woods where I built a little dam and you can swim in an ice cold stream butt necked, when you get tired of that you can toss a little grub to the under cut bank and pull out dinner that gets cooked right there on the fire.

That's what I want to do.

It's a dam shame being an adult, cuz if I was a kid I'd go kock on my neighbor's door and we could leave tonight, just head out from the back door.

Unfortunately I have had about 10 to 15 people from my graduating class already died from ods

I went back through Greensboro and went 40 and cut through Cherokee and stayed a few days in Gatlinburg.

God's Country. Good song.

I am a wealthy man, not in terms of $$, but that I can get up every day and see God in every piece of nature, and breath of air. But then too, I live in the country.

OK, that copperhead the cats killed yesterday, maybe not so much.

No, no! That's good. Spread the word. Things like copperheads keep the 'civilized people' in-town.
Good cats there!
Wife sells country R/e. The surbuban- ites that bought a house and 10 ac killed 4 small coperheads there the first week. She did not tell them they probably were hibernated under their front porch!!!
