So I finally made it back up to my sister's last weekend, I went ahead and pulled that cheesy chrome valve cover off and installed one that rob gave me which I had previously cleaned up. Got the motor painted, now I'm just waiting on an order of gaskets and odds and ends from Rock Auto.
