there IS a "line" for Christs sake - - you should disown the ungrateful brat!!

nice car - - you know, for a Chebby and all

Next thing you know. He'll be joining a cult, wear a tin foil hat, running around claiming the world is flat. At least it's not a Ferd.

Did he already have a mullet or is he starting to grow one now?

He'd love a Dart like mine, but he said he could build two Chevelles for what it cost to build one Dart. That education was money down the drain. Cause everyone knows it takes two chebbys to equal one Mopar!

Put a bumper sticker on your son''s car that reads "When I grow up I want to be a Mopar"

He I partially right, GM car parts are cheaper like interior, body panels, but some things like engine work, is best with Mopar!!
I have been tempted to travel that misguided path of GM and Ford, but I killed that serpent snake first!! lol

I've tried hard not to comtaminate my shop with HerpesGM. I just kept a close eye (with protection) on him when he was building the engine.

Lol thats funny. Maybe it needs a mopar engine transplant. I mean they put shivvy engines in everything. Put a mopar engine in it. Still a nice car though. Better than him running around in an import with a fart cannon sticking out the back.

My kiddo says he wants to be like me fixing cars and changing filters. But he's 6, getting him involved w building model kits now. He knows "Mopars" though. Wants his Cuda to be red.

I guess that counts as a score for pops! No 22" wire wheels, wings and certainly no Fart Cannons!

Like I always said. A little knowledge can be dangerous. He even came back a half-assed liberal. I even offered him my '67 Fastback. FREE

In the immortal words of a once famous cook spoken over salsa made in New York City...

Git a rope...

Nice car(s).
I don't care for the wheels on the Chevelle, though.
Sadly, he's right. (for a street cruiser)
I will be the first to admit that it's overall cheaper to build a Chevy vs Mopar.
With the exception of the higher end stuff, of course!
My brother has a nice '69 Chevelle, and it's a great car overall.
If i didn't like the uniqueness of a Mopar, and the superiority of the factory suspension, i would seriously think about getting into a Chevy for sure.................
Facts are facts, go ahead and start the hate mail or comments!

Unless he got a steal on the Chevelle, no way he can build that car cheaper than your Dart (including the cost of the car)

Anyone around here with a Chevelle wants Barrett Jackson money for a rust bucket. But once purchased, they are cheaper to build.

I agree. You can buy a finished car cheaper than you can build one. Unless you can do everything yourself. I've never asked what he's got in it, but he's made comments he should've gone to Mecum.

Well, maybe if he bought better wheels :)
