Could a '65 Dart 270 come with a 4 speed and HiPo 273?

Yes, they could. They didn't build too many of them. It's a keeper. I'll give you exactly numbers tomorrow morning.
Congrats. Yes you could have one. My first car was a 65 270 post car with a HP 273 and a 3 on the column. A rare one I understand. Nice build sheet! Where did you find it?

It's got 4 on the floor and hurst shifter. It's straight but not sure how much rust. Not mine yet though.

3:55 is the steepest gear you could get. It may have a 3:91 in it.

Yes! Good car to race either at a drag strip or road course. For the ‘66 Trans Am cars they started with Dart 270 models.

The number "2" in space 59 on build sheet says ordered with Sure grip. Very cool car.

I'm seeing conflicting info on that engine code. Was 31 for standard 2 bbl or the hipo 4bbl?
In 65 the 2 barrel was a 30 code and the 4 barrel a 31 code. In 66 the 4 barrel was a 32 code.

Yes, it's mine. That was the the MCACN show in Chicago back in 2015.
Hah fantastic! Nice to put a face to a name once in a while! Absolutely beautiful car.

Let me ask one more question about the car above. Even though it's not a Dart Charger, should it have an exhaust cutout in the rear valance?

Thanks for the nice comments! All 273x4 bbl equipped cars had that cut-out in 1965.
