Wow. I didnt know the back story behind the build. Really glad the build helped you out like that. In a way you helped that car out too.
Just an FYI for anybody building and painting a car that has to use their original "good" wheels to roll it around. Use a couple 50 gallon trash bags over the wheels when priming and painting the car. They are cheap, and easy. then you dont have a mess to remove.
