70 Dart Triple Treat Build
Need to get some flush mount fasteners BUT the enclosure for the fuel cell is done. First time using a sheet metal break worked out pretty well in my eyes. The plan is to secure the tank underneath the car to keep the center of gravity as low as possible while having the top of the tank accessible when you open the trunk to fill up and still have space usable trunk space. Looks like its going to fit with room to spare but wont know for sure until its finished and underneath the trunk floor pan.
FYI: Jaz fuel cell dimensions they list are completely misleading. The length and width were both a quarter in off but the tank itself measured 3/4 of an inch shorter. Only thing I could figure out is that the dimensions are of the footprint of the tank, not including actual sides that are elevated and the height includes the cap.
