A-Body Shifter??
hi guys I just swapped my 727 automatic out for an A-833 3 speed OD. I’m ready to set up my linkage and realized that the shifter mechanism I have is toasted. It as way too much play to be able to use it and it will shift out of 2nd with out shifting the rod. It’s an ITM mechanism. I need to find a mechanism but I cant drop $600 on a new Hurst. Used is the way I have to go. Problem is how do I tell what shifter will fit my make and model?? I have found some off of chev’s fords and even other model dodges. Is there an easy way for me to tell if it will fit?
