Now I'm jealous. That's just awesome. It's just SO much more apparent when you see an old Ford or Mopar fixed up at how much better cars they are than Chevys. I mean, I like Chevys ok, but man, They never made anything like that Fairlane or some of the big block Mopars. They are just on a totally different level.

Even my old 75 F250.....it's twice what a 75 Chevy C20 was. Just like the Dodges were.

Poor 428s, they were just kinda plain next to a Cammer :rolleyes:

My first wifes cousin had and raced a 427 Fairlane back when we were running the hemi. It wasn`t as fast as the hemi, and was a fair amount liter too. . I remember the problems he had w/ it , trying to stop the wheel hop , use to joke about the wheel hopping fords .

I keep my eyes open for BB Fairlanes all the time. :D My '66 Ranchero had that same issue.
 
My first car was almost a '67 fairlane 2dr. The owners were going to let me mow grass to pay it off. Man, that car was STRAIGHT. I should've gone for it
