My firewall has been sanded down & re-painted so I have no clue where the insulation goes. Does anyone have a diagram or a good pic?
Thanks for the picture, it helped a lot.DMT products. Non A/C.
Should be similar for A/C cars. With another punch out for the evaporator lines. And maybe one for the vacuum lines. The plastic snap in pins locate it either way regardless.

Although a year ago, your post and pictures saved my day. I have a 69 Barracuda coupe, same color, and was trying to figure how to put in the firewall insulation. The drivers' side piece has pieces that I don't need and are designed to be cut off. Which ones? Your pictures solved the problem, thanks
You said it. Too bad nothing came with instructions or warned me about the yellow insulation material. Feels like it's under my skin. I have almost destroyed the heater box plenum with the Spectra heater core. I dug up the old one and the new is not a good match!Awesome sharing is good yes?

I took lots of pics on disassembly and as much on re-assembly. Not always easy to find them but I took them!
My core was still good and box repair was more cleaning / resto gaskets and minor fixing.
