Does anyone know the dimensions of the brass washers on a slant 6 exhaust manifold? I was sending my only one to a machine shop to have it made and the envelope was ripped open at the post office and the washer was lost. Lesson learned on mailing parts. I can’t seem to find them anywhere.

Just where does this "BRASS" washer go? I have some washers from when I replaced my manifold.

are you talking about the triangle shaped washers? or the 2 round washers?

Always tape the part to cardboard.

Sometimes the machines hang up on the USPS processing line and when the person clears the jam- parts drop into the abyss.

The workers cannot hear it fall- very noisy.

Second lesson- lol!

The brass washers go on the 2 end studs, flat side toward the manifold.

3/4"OD, approx. 13/32ID and 1/4" thick. They seam to have a little bevel inside. Not sure if that is cut in there originally or worn in from use.
I would check Mcmaster.

Believe it or not, I found one !
O.D. is 3/4 inch
Thickness is 1/4 inch
Now the fun part. The hole is tapered. Approximately 27/64 to 29/64
I have 9 NEW triangle washers and one USED brass washer.
The new triangle washers have the correct tapered hole. Nice.
You may find something to use for the other brass washer in a hardware and do some grinding on it to taper the hole yourself. It does not have to be exact.

Thank you very much for the measurements and advice. I might see if I can get them made up at a machine shop. The curved edge might be tough. We’ll see. Thanks again. Rich

Hey Rich, Do you want what I have? My wife would like it off the table.
I am 68 and do not expect to R and R any 6 cylinder manifolds in the near future.

Hey Donnie, I’m definitely interested in the washer. I’ll take all of in, if you don’t need it. Let me know what you want for it. Thanks. Rich

Give me your address and I can get this off my table. What 7 or 8 bucks priority mail and buy time we both pay the pay pal fees is crazy. Just tell me where to mail it and I will make you a happy boy.
