or grinder or transmission stand, limited only to your imagination. The base is 44" long, 29-1/2" wide, 38-1/2" or so tall. The pads are 1/4" and the tubing thickness of the upright is 3/16". There are holes in the upright to allow wires to pass thru in it's previous life. The upright unbolts.

hmmm, that's possible. maybe if hole was enlarged?

my thought was to weld that tube to the top plate or to another plate
that could be bolted to the top plate, which has threaded holes.
