Hey guys longtime member and lurker here. I'm currently rebuilding my trans in my bracket car and doing a some upgrades at the moment including installing a trans brake from CRT. CRT recommends not using the deep steel pan because they can get dented and interfere with the brake and I read that using a cast aluminum pan can increase case strength which I'm all for. Now for the question I'm looking at either using the TCI pan or the Mancini racing pan. I know both come with hardware but I would like to use a stud kit because it will make it easier to put my B&M ratchet shifter cable bracket on. So does anyone know of a stud kit that will fit the pan and shifter cable bracket? Thanks in advance.

Jegs has a stud kit with 1 1/8th inch long studs it is jegs # 83335. I just put one in my 904. That might be long enough for your aluminum pan. I think Jegs uses the # 555-83335.

Cool car. What part of town are you in? Care to share any details about your Valiant?

If you have time, and good nut and bolt house will have studs in different lengths, also.

Sure, I'm in north Peoria. The car is a 66 valiant street/strip car but it's mostly strip. It has a 408 with indybrock heads, 904 trans that's being rebuilt, 8 3/4 with limited slip 3.55 gear. I also have another car thats a street/strip car I mostly race as I just purchased the valiant from my uncle. My other ride is a 1967 coronet which I won the track championship in 2017 in sportsman (which is a foot brake class). This car has a 410, 727, and 8 3/4 with 3.55 also
