1974 Duster door glass, need advice

When you changed out your glass did you have to remove the hardware from your window? I need to change the drivers side glass in my 74 duster. Bought a new amd glass and have no idea how to remove the existing hardware from the old window. Looks like a metal washer on each side with a plastic insert with a threaded stud. I see they sell new kits but they dont look the same.

As I recall I think you have to move or remove the regulator and also the bottom screw at the ends of the guide. You get the regulator rollers off the window track and also the bottom of the guides kind of spread out so you can get the window out. It should come out with the metal strip on the bottom of it, but you need to get the regulator out of it and that requires you I believed to unscrew the regulator from the inner door panal.
