Julian date is 4 characters. The first number is the year the next three are the numbers of the day of the year.
So an example would be 9028 would be 69 for the 9. 028 would = january 28.
So Jan 28 1969.
Well if you read the ad, it reads as if not only the Julian Date is there but also the partial VIN. Was there a second place on these engines for the partial VIN? I was not aware of such.
