Ultimate home defence pistol?

Speaking of glock what is the best for a medium sized hand.
Wanting to do the 80%er build.
I have seen those 80 percent glock frames. I have yet to find a slide kit that is affordable enough to make it worth it. From what I've found it would cast more to do a 80% then just buy a new or used glock.
I found a place online that use to sale police trade ins very reasonably.

Those are great guns I have shot them and almost bought one I just can't pay that much and it not be a glock. Lol

I paid over $100 less for that M&P compact than I would have for a gen 4 or 5 19. That’s the reason I bought that gun instead of a 19. I couldn’t spend Glock money on a pistol when the S&W was under $400.

I’m a SIG man myself. They make quality firearms. Older German made ones are even better, but the ones from Exeter are just fine.

I love CZ too, I have many rimfire rifles from them.

Yes sig and cz are top of the line for sure.
I always thought sigs had too many buttons for my liking but they handle and shoot amazing.
Cz rifles are purely amazing.

I really like my HK P30 with the 3 sizes of grips it comes with so you can get it to fit in your hand the way you want.

A bit of a heavy kick with the 9mm and smaller frame, but very comfortable to shoot a few hundred rounds through at the range without hand fatigue.

Ohhh HK!! Now you making me drool!! Haha they are nice. I put them in the same boat as sigs

I carry a 27 every single day. If I buy another it will be the 29 as I'd like a 10mm to carry. I shoot 9mm worst of anything. Can't hit the broad side of a barn. That's why I carry the 27. I shoot .40 the best.

27 Is the 40 twin to my 26. It's all what you shoot the best! And what you are comfortable with I really dont think any bad guy is gonna know the difference between a 9mm or a 40 if it hits its mark! I use to swear by a 40 until I shot a 9 and I just shoot the 9 so much better and more comfortably. Was kinda of funny how it happened because I was looking for a 17 or 27 when I found my 26 and I passed it up because I didnt want a 9mm a couple weeks later I went back to place and saw it again and the guy kept coming down and down until I finally couldn't refuse it. I had every intention of flipping it for a new gen 4 17 (I still had my 22 at that time) and when I shot it I fell in love with it and still have it and still carry it everyday after all these years.

The kool thing is that there is so many choices of ammo u can make a 9 do everything a 45 can. Glock and Kahr arms for me.

A thug gun made out of plastic that looks like it came out of a cereal box
I use to be a glock hater till I shot one!
I was a die hard 1911 guy I had 3 of them had my full size range gun a commander and a officer. Until I started shooting glock. Now I have my original 1911 and sold the rest

Most people who bash Glock have never fired one. They are really nice weapons.

I agree with that statement. The funny thing is all the stuff I use to not like them for is the same reason that I really liked them after firing one.
I always thought they were over priced over rated plastic and I hated the fact that it didnt have a safety or no bells and whistles.
Now that I own one I love the simplicity of it and it just works right every single time!

That is very expensive. You can get the 80% with all the internals for 80 bucks. slide, barrel and kit is the most expensive, but i've gotten them for 250 so the whole thing costs 330.
Look around, if you need some sites for deals send me a PM.
Wow never seen one that cheap! Point us in the right direction!!

I aint bashing glocks, I took a cleet armed course for the h--- of it, At the range we fired clock 9mm and s/w 9 mm, all were well /really well used. I fired 100% w/ both of them the first day at the range, I liked the s/w best. The second day , I woke up w/ a neck headache , any of u had a broken neck knows about that, any way I fired 80% w/ both guns that day, also grabbed the wrong pair of glasses that second morning . I still like the S/W/ M-P the best --------

'home invaders' (lol) in this cesspool of a city are known to wear body armor. It's a short-barrel 870 w/no. 1 buck for me. My logic is even with full body armor a blast to the head should make an impression.

My buddy has had the long barrel version raging bull edition for a few years now. I will say it's a fun novelty thing but the trigger sucks on it. The pull and break is just terrible.

You can change the spring and aftermarket trigger kit makes it better.. I had one that would hang up and others that were just butter. I am going to take some 3000 grit and knock off stuff and see if that helps.
