Just got this 1965 Barracuda. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time. Pretty new to this stuff and excited by the challenge.

Nice car. Doing a 64 right now for the wife, really digging the car.
Welcome from PA!

I have one and it is a hoot to drive. Congratulations and welcome!

Nice looking car. Did Chrysler put U.S Dart dashes in the Barracuda in Canada?
Not sure about the dash but the trunk lid has the word “Valiant” instead of “Plymouth” I think that’s a Canadian Us difference on the ‘65, but again I’m no expert.

Welcome glad to see this car get restored its been sitting there at the airport for a while, yes canadian made barracuda the dash is a dart and the trunk lid says valiant also the plate under the hood is different from the USA . I have one of these lots of fun to restore. there was only 3200 made in Canada for 65 after that was all made in USA. if you goggle Canadian made Barracuda their is a site with info.

Just remember try Valiant .org , good reading and one more different is on the hood badge would be valiant also . If need anything might be able to help just shoot a message this is a great form to learn from. gary. ( mine was 888 off the assembly line in Windsor Ont.in 65 owned it for 45 years) have fun with it .
