67 and 69 barracuda reverse light housing mounting screws
Yeah, i noticed the housing mounting holes were countersunk, just figured it may have been the way they were designed as pre production, and then maybe decided on a screw with a flat bottom. Its a stretch here but possibly since the metal is very thin in this area and prone to cracking, maybe the countersunk screws were acting like a wedge when drawn down cracking the castings when tightened. It may be possible that chrysler just changed the screw design to what i have because of that, rather than retool the casting moulds.
