1966 Dart torsion bar info needed

That's not correct, and the same stored lift energy applies, yes. 6 cyl. bars wound tighter will help transfer that weight back before the frt' tires get off the ground, or at least floating, stiff bars unwound only lower the ride height......which is worse because the the amount of lift will be less before they unload the frt tires........fine if You're running pro stock and have the tire for it and have to avoid standing it on the rear bumper,..but for most of Us.........
