We can get it done in Georgia. Once repaired, the GBI has to come out and inspect it. When it passes, they give you a report to take to the local tax office where you can apply for a new title. This is all dependent of course, that it had a title to begin with. In Georgia, older vehicles only need a bill of sale. If a vehicle has ever been registered without a title, you can never get a title again. Period. End of story. But if it had a good title, got totaled, bought back repaired and inspected, it can get a good title again. Lots of hoops to jump through.
