432 vs 360
Well remember how I said he likes to break stuff....
We hopped in his truck to go see his spot. Ignition switch is acting up.
Finaly get that shot box started and we go into D, we make it about 3 feet and the trans starts grinding bad. He goes to shift the column and its stuck. Like fully stuck.
Wont shift into park, wont move at all...
So instead of us racing I spent most of he day pulling his column out while he drove to Santa clara truck wreckers and got a new column.
He suppose to be racing at Sonoma tonight so being the friend that I am we spent all day tearing out his old column and putting in a new column and ignition switch.
What a pain in the ***...
This was me trying to figure out why the shifter wont move, before I said just go buy a new one....
I'll bring the car back in the morning and we try again......
I said, "if you were that afraid to race you could have just said so. You didn't have to break your **** to get out of the race..."
