I've been using various detail sprays (Meguiars, Turtle Wax Black Detailer & Lucas) for 10+ years on my cars including my daily driver. They all seem to work relatively well in between washes/waxes.

Recently I was able to borrow & try some Adam's Polishes brand. I was impressed & asked for some for my B'day gift this year. Just finished detailing my black car & all I can say is this stuff is THE BEST I've ever used!!! It's a bit more expensive than the store brands, but you don't need to use nearly as much, so a little goes a long way. It makes my car feel like it's been freshly waxed :D

Thumbs Up to Adam's for a clearly superior product IMHO

Hello All,
Just as a side note Adam's is used at all the Barrett Jackson auctions on cars going over the block.
Funny one would think that they would be using Meguiars there.

Thanks for the tip C. I think my last bottle was Turtle wax but I wasn't impressed. I'll keep a eye peeled for some Adams.

It's funny you mention this. I walked right by the Adam's booth this year at Barrett.

Didn't give it a second thought...Doh' :BangHead:

If you see someone with a bottle at a show, ask to try it. I couldn't believe the difference....Magic Spray LOL :D

Been using adams products for years. Awesome stuff.
Their detail spray, revive polish & butter wax are all i use.

I've used Adams Detail for a couple years and love it!!
I use it at car shows on paint and chrome works well on all.

You would be better to go straight to chemical guys.

Adam's also makes a Rinseless Wash that is awesome for when your car is just a little bit dirtier. Best thing, pour an ounce of it into another spray bottle, fill with water and boom! Full bottle of instant detailer. :) They make great stuff.

ONR and distilled water 15:1 cheapest to make your own and probably the best. I only wash my cars with ONR and distilled water. $22 for 32 oz and buy a spray bottle for $2.

I used to use Griots Best of Show detailer.

I also use the Adams detailer. Try spraying it on while your cars still wet after a wash, wipe dry like normal.

What about the relatively new ceramic sprays?

I'm not familiar with ceramic sprays either? Very pleased with Adam's Detail for now until it runs out... :D

I had to google ONR....never heard of it! Optimum No Rinse looks like it has good reviews also. Thanks for your input.

The ceramic sprays are EXPENSIVE. As much as hundred dollars a bottle expensive. They have UV protection, last way longer than anything else, coat/cover the paint, extremely durable. Beyond my budget, but would be the thing to use if someone painted their vehicle with (acrylic) enamel or autozone lacquer paint.

I use a ton of Adam's Polishes products. They are far superior to many of the products I have used in the past and I'm a car show guy. Been to many indoor shows, etc.

I like the Waterless Wash, Detailer, Buttery Wax, Interior Detailer and the tire shine.

I love when they do mystery bucket buys. Allows me to try items at a discounted rate.
