318 dyno run.

The 750 double pumper didn't give it more power, the 600 is all it needs.

Showed the limitations of the heads with small valves.

I agree that 750 is a little much for a 318 and a 600 is good enough....

Those are decent numbers for a street engine... Nothing wrong with that... :thumbsup:


I have a similar engine going together right now...

72 318 standard bore with 8.5 compression, 67 closed chamber heads ported with 1.88"/1.60" 360 valves, Edelbrock LD4B intake, and a Holley 600 vacuum secondary with electric choke.... Can't remember the cam size, but close to yours...

I plan on putting it in my 66 Valiant wagon for street cruising... :steering:
