Homemade 6 pack metering plates...

A 4bbl. is cheaper and easier to pay for, assemble, tune and run. Fact. Period.

The dual-quad & 6 pack is an old age answer to increasing performance when there were no big 4bbl. Carburetor’s available.

What was found with the 6 pack was a super flexible & capable set up. It has an edge over a single 4bbl. where the single carb may very well be a case of too big and drivability suffers.

Today, the person running a 6 pack does so because they want to. Nothing more, nothing less.
I want to. Just because is my answer.
Still sonic checking blocks. I have a decent useable block, still searching for better. I’m otherwise ready to go.

ProMax metering block in the center, end carbs have the metering plates removed for there jet plate, end carb has there base plate.
