Bad accident at work....again

Wow that is horrible.
I watched a guy get his fingers smashed off a couple years ago. He was lowering a set of rolls down off the machine the rolls are on hydraulic arms. The trolly that he was lowering them on was pushed in to far and not centered under the arms. When he lowered it down and unchucked the arms they slide outward. His and was on the trolly and when it unchucked it mashed his had between the arms and the trolly. I had no idea his hand was there but I saw him with the trolly to far and was like what the hell are you doing back the trolly out but it was to late the look on his face I knew something was wrong but I didn't realize how bad it was until I saw him pick up his fingers.

I'll share a little somethin that happened to ME when I was a kid just startin out. We were finishin up some kinda work on about a 76 or 77 Ford Ranchero. You know how LONG those hoods are. If you don't google it. Anyway, "SOMEHOW" my dumbass ended up with my left hand stuck over the top of the driver's fender right at the back corner of the hood. Yup. You see what's comin. The other guy I was workin with yup.......closed the hood. With my hand in the back corner where the hood, fender and door all come together. I just stood there and said, "Hay Billy, How bout opening the hood real quick?" because I couldn't QUITE reach the hood release inside. He says "oh **** Rob! and ran around and opened the hood, but I had to wait till he ran BACK around to the front and opened it all the way because it was still stuck. Amazingly, it didn't break anything, but my hand was black and blue for a couple of weeks. Lemmie tell you son, that hurt like ALMIGHTY! TO this day, I WILL NOT put my hand over the fender on a vehicle while the hood is open.
