Greetings all!
I"m not sure if I have an original knob or not. It doesn't lock onto the switch shaft. I really dont want to glue it in place. I"ve searched extensively and it seems no one makes a repro knob. The closest I can find is a 1964 Barracuda knob that comes with a set screw on the knob. Does anyone if this will work. Thanks in advance!!!

Both type knobs fit the same size shaft. A 67 should have the set screw in its wiper knob. They did delete that set screw years later. The later knob has slots where tempered steel tensioner was slid in. And that little piece could fall out when the knob was removed from the switch shaft.
I'm sure one of our members would have the correct knob for your car. In fact, I may have a nice extra here somewhere.

Awesome!!! Thanks for your input, I didn't know that.

I believe I have an NOS knob... If you can send me a picture of what the knob looks like I'll compare it to all the ones I have.

Here's the NOS knobs I have... I have 4 knobs that are like yours and from my research they are for all A bodies from 1967-1971, which I would think would be correct for 1967 Barracuda. They are chrome and have a sleeve in them. You press it on and the sleeve helps it stay on.

The 3 at the back are all different but the center one matches the Classic Industries top knob you posted. The back three knobs all have a set screw.

PM me if interested.

That is the correct shape/look knob. If you cant find a prettier one with the set screw, maybe buy a dirt cheap example just for the tensioner that goes in the one you have.
Question... What a/c unit included those single, close to the door vents?

I took care of him with an NOS one...

Sorry to butt in on this conversation, but can’t remember how to PM. Do you still have any of the knobs with the sleeve? Thanks!
