Power Steering setup - what tools do I need?

Steering box bolts are often 12 point. A phillips often will spread the roll pin, making removal difficult. Removing the top of the coupler will sometimes work. I dislike Harbor Freight, but if you need one time tools...

All the sockets are 12 point, and check the brand name. My cousin can’t fix a sandwich, much less anything on a car. The sockets are old Snap-On and the ratchet Cornwell. I suppose his wife’s granddad did it right back in the day. From my reading, it appears that roll pin is no joke, so maybe I’d be better going at the coupler. I expect there will be no key and since it’s a 70 the column will be locked. This could be an adventure.
